OVERVIEW

  HamChat is designed with privacy as
  a core principle. The app operates
  entirely offline and does not collect,
  transmit, or share any personal data.


DATA COLLECTION
===============

  We collect nothing.

  HamChat does not:
    - Connect to the internet (except
      for App Store purchase verification,
      handled entirely by Apple)
    - Send analytics or telemetry
    - Track usage patterns
    - Create user accounts
    - Sync data to cloud services
    - Access contacts, location, or
      other device data


PERMISSIONS USED
================

  Microphone Access
  -----------------
  Required to receive and decode digital
  radio signals from audio input. Audio
  is processed locally in real time.
  Audio data is never recorded, stored,
  or transmitted.

  Screen Recording (macOS, optional)
  ----------------------------------
  Required only for the System Audio
  input feature, which captures system
  audio output to decode signals from
  webSDR or other software. This
  permission is managed by macOS and
  can be revoked at any time in System
  Settings > Privacy & Security >
  Screen Recording.

  File Access (User-Selected)
  ---------------------------
  Required to export WAV files when
  saving audio. The app only accesses
  files you explicitly select through
  system file dialogs.


IN-APP PURCHASES
================

  HamChat uses Apple's StoreKit for
  in-app purchases. Purchase transactions
  are handled entirely by Apple. We do
  not process or store payment info.


THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
====================

  HamChat uses no third-party services,
  SDKs, or frameworks beyond Apple's
  standard system frameworks and StoreKit.


CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
==================

  HamChat does not collect any personal
  information from anyone, including
  children.
